This past chilly weekend, Sen. Ken Bogner and I were humbled by the warm welcome we received at the 2020 March for Life rallies in Helena, Bozeman, and Billings. That’s right! We spoke and marched in three different rallies in order to support the Pro-Life community groups across Montana. Why? Life is sacred to us! All life has dignity. As Pro-Life state senators, we talk the talk and walk the walk! Together, we have a 100% Pro-life voting record in 3 legislative sessions.
As a legislative Pro-Life champion, I have had the honor to co-sponsor the Montana Personhood Amendment Bill. In 2015, I sponsored the Montana Unborn Child Pain and Suffering Prevention Act. In 2017, I sponsored SB 282, a bill that prohibited killing the unborn viable child in the womb. In 2019, I sponsored SB 354, the Montana Baby Born Alive Protection Act. This act prohibited infanticide in Montana. Even though all three Pro-Life bills passed the House and Senate during their respective legislative sessions, they were vetoed by Gov. Bullock. As Montana’s next Governor, I have the knowledge and legislative experience to get these bills signed into law next year. As your next Governor, I will continue to march with you and pray with you, to end abortion.
Many thanks to the following organizations for putting on successful March for Life rallies across the state: St. Patrick’s Pro Vitae, Yellowstone Christians for Life, MSU Students for Life, Helena Pro-life, and the Knights of Columbus Chapters in Helena, Bozeman, and Billings. God Bless Montana!
