FIXING BROKEN GOVERNMENT

After 30 years of fixing broken people, Dr. Al is running as your Montana Republican candidate for Governor in the 2020 election to fix broken government. Why is he Montana’s nominee of choice? Dr. Al combines the strengths of all the contenders into one person:

  • THIRD GENERATION MONTANAN | Born and raised in Great Falls, Dr. Al is the son of a carpenter and great grandson of farmers and miners who pioneered Central Montana and the Hi-Line.
  • AIR FORCE VETERAN | Dr. Al demonstrates service above self. Over a decade in the U.S. Air Force fortified his love for our nation and the constitution we were founded upon.
  • PHYSICIAN | Over the past 30 years, Dr. Al has cared for +100,000 patients (recipient of the 2018 Flathead’s Best Orthopedist Award). Formerly a part business owner of a clinic, he has the greatest understanding of our broken healthcare system and how to fix it to better serve Montanans.
  • BATTLE-TESTED STATE LEGISLATOR | Having served the past five years at our state Capitol, Dr. Al is a fearless and driving force for legislation that enhances rural healthcare, supports public lands, and protects life from conception to natural death (recipient of 2017 Montana NAMI Hero Award).
  • FAMILY VALUES | Dr. Al is a husband of 30 years, biological and adoptive father of six children, and grandpa!

ENDORSEMENTS

"I met Dr. Al in 2015, during our first session in the Montana Legislature. I was immediately drawn to Al because of the charismatic and warm person he is. What I came to quickly discover about him is that he is truly a servant, someone who puts the needs of others above his own and genuinely cares for people.

As a native son, military veteran, highly regarded orthopedic surgeon, respected father and member of the Montana Legislature, Al embodies the leadership qualities that establish him as the best candidate to lead Montana in 2021 and beyond."

Rep. Brad Tschida, Montana House Majority Leader (Missoula, MT)

ENDORSEMENTS

"Dr. Al is what Montana needs as governor! He is a man of faith with great integrity. He can take on any contender and win because he will focus on the issues. Dr. Al has my vote!"

Sierra Butts (Kalispell, Montana)

ENDORSEMENTS

"I am supporting Dr. Al because we need a governor whose only allegiance is to Montanans - not career politicians and Helena insiders."

Drew Zinecker (Helena, MT)

ENDORSEMENTS

"While I respect the other candidates in the race, Senator Olszewski has won me over. He treated me with sterling kindness, both publicly and privately, at a time when we were competing against each other. I've also witnessed him take the heat for supporting policy solutions that haven't been widely embraced yet even in his own party, but which are right, which shows me that he has intellectual integrity...in other words, he has strict principles and he stands up for them even when the current isn't with him. I also know that he has supported policy positions that serve as intellectual litmus tests for those of us who are deeply involved in policy...he is able to weigh evidence and arrive at correct conclusions about how to solve the issue, correctly applying limited government principles, when so many others on the right don't. I am happy to have him as a friend."

Scott McLean (Hamilton, MT)

ENDORSEMENTS

"The thing I like most about Al is his genuine regard for people. You can tell he is 'real' from the first time you meet him. He's honest, caring and is in this race to make Montana a better place for all of us!"

Sen. Dee Brown, Montana SD2 (Hungry Horse, MT)

ENDORSEMENTS

"I am very proud of my father for announcing his Gubernatorial Campaign. My dad has devoted his life to serving people as a father (adoptive and biological), a doctor, and a veteran. It is not just his passion. It is in his nature to take care of everyone around him. He works harder than anyone I know. On his days off, he builds fence, picks rock, and does other not-fun chores instead of kicking his boots off and relaxing. He is also infuriatingly humble and wicked smart... about everything. He knows more about healthcare than most and has plans to actually make it affordable for everyone."

Albert Michael Olszewski (Queens, New York)

ENDORSEMENTS

"First, I would like to say that Dr. Olszewski embodies respect, honor, and dignity for everyone. As a father, he pushed me to not only respect everyone, but to show compassion as well. As a veteran, he started his family on an Air Force base. He brought those values to every part our lives. He's not running for election for the recognition. It’s about building a better future. I know Dr. Olszewski will not just fix broken government, I trust him to usher Montana into a bright future."

Daniel Olszewski (Helena, Montana)
